Professional Services Agreement

This Professional Services Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms on which AG EPC UK LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides professional EPC assessment services to you (“you”, “Client”).


1. Services

We provide Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) assessments and related services for residential and commercial properties across the UK, including landlord/lettings compliance-related certificates where applicable.

2. Booking & Access

  • You may request a booking via our Contact page or by contacting us directly.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate property details and ensuring safe access to the premises at the agreed time.
  • If access is not available, or the appointment cannot proceed due to circumstances outside our control, a re-visit fee may apply.

3. Fees & Payment

Fees will be confirmed at the time of booking (or quotation). Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due in accordance with the invoice terms provided. Any additional work requested beyond the original scope may be charged separately.

4. Delivery & Timescales

We aim to deliver reports/certificates within the timescales communicated at booking. Timescales may vary depending on property complexity, data availability, and peak demand.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information and supporting documentation where requested.
  • Disclose any known hazards and ensure the property is safe for inspection.
  • Ensure utilities (where required) are available for assessment.

6. Professional Standards

We will perform services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with applicable regulations and industry standards. We may rely on information provided by you or third parties where appropriate.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee to cover assessor time and travel.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant services. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Confidentiality & Data Protection

We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Where relevant, confidentiality obligations may apply to information shared during the engagement.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please refer to our Complaints Policy and contact us so we can investigate and respond.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
